45% Islands Chocolate Sauce Pre-Batch.

400g ‘45% Chocolate Powder’
600g Water
(1:1.5 ratio)

- Add the hot water to the chocolate powder and stir until dissolved
- Pour into a glass/ squeezy bottle
- Keeps for 4 days. Store in the fridge if not in use.

NB: Should be the consistency of espresso at room temp

Vessel - large latte glass or 8oz T/A

75ml chocolate sauce
220ml steamed milk
Vessel - large cappuccino cup or 12oz T/A

Pre-heat the glass/mug
- Add the chocolate sauce
- Steam a small amount of milk
- Shake chocolate over the chocolate sauce
- Pour the milk over the chocolate sauce
- Finish with latte art

By sourcing the cocoa directly from our partner farms in the Dominican, and coordinating the roasting, pressing and blending of this in the EU, we have been able to create a Hot Chocolate Powder that holds its own to the flavour, traceability and ethical credentials of our St Vincent chocolate.”
