Ingredients
50ml Tequila
25ml lime juice
15ml Agave syrup
1 whole red chilli
Glass
Clear Rocks
MOP
- Cut the chilli in half, and finely slice one half, adding the the other ingredients in a shaker
- Shake all ingredients over ice
- Double strain into a glass of ice
- Garnish with the other half of the chilli

Tommy's Margarita was invented by Tequila legend Julio Bermejo at Tommy's Mexican Restaurant in San Francisco, California. The key difference between this recipe and its predecessors is the use of Agave Nectar instead of orange liqueur. The rest – as they say – is history!
